Chicago, IL (April 9, 2026) – Turnout Industries LLC (“Turnout”) is pleased to announce two new investments that continue to strengthen its focus on superalloy machining and forming operations.
In January 2026, Turnout acquired IET Global (“IET”), an Evansville, Indiana manufacturer of complex superalloy fabrications primarily for the industrial gas turbine market.
Originally founded in 1992, IET is an AS 9100, ISO 9001 and NADCAP certified provider of diffusion bonding, welding, machining, heat treating and water jet cutting services to OEM and aftermarket customers in the power generation, analytical instrumentation and aerospace industries.
Turnout Principal Mike Lazarczyk commented, “the acquisition of IET greatly expands our capabilities through the addition of diffusion bonding and heat treating services, while also strengthening our focus on superalloy machining. We are excited to aid in the growth of IET as it continues to serve the growing gas turbine market.”
In late 2025, KIHM Metal Technologies (“KIHM”) acquired Arbiser Machine (“Arbiser”), an Atlanta-based provider of electrical discharge machining (“EDM”), CNC machining services and waterjet cutting services.
Originally founded in 1964, Arbiser is an ISO 9001 certified supplier to customers in a variety of industries, including medical device, aerospace, industrial and food and beverage.
